The Trust’s work is rooted in the following values:

• The exchange of ideas between people of different nationalities and cultures;
• the promotion of knowledge, scholarship and expertise, particularly in the arts and humanities;
• the provision of access to source material for those otherwise unable to obtain it;
• the provision of accommodation in London offering support and a sympathetic environment for study.

In these difficult times, the value of this work is likely only to increase. We are very fortunate that Dr Anderson left the Trust in good health financially but we will not be able to sustain and develop the current programme without support.
