Christopher stayed in Trust’s Highgate house during November 2018.
I stayed for a month at the Robert Anderson Trust’s Highgate property while conducting research for my doctoral dissertation at the British Museum. I transcribed cuneiform tablets, which is a slow and time-consuming process. Housing costs for short term research trips to London can be prohibitively expensive, and thanks to the housing provided by the Trust I was able to complete all of my goals for this research trip. The Highgate property is quiet and hidden yet accessible. It is a gorgeous house, which creates a great scholarly atmosphere. I would very much like to thank the Trust for its vote of confidence in my research and for giving me the opportunity to study there in 2018.
